stop dot motion

i don't suppose there will be any many film-makers losing any sleep over our debut, but this week we ventured into a brave new world on the floral coalition. 

one similar looking pot, one stop-motion app, two different cameras and a colour brief. you can see the fruits of our endeavours here. it's surprising how long it took to make what turned out to be just a 4-second (grainy) video. normally when i'm working it all happens so fast that sometimes i'm hardly aware of it taking place, so it was quite an interesting process to break it all down frame by frame. 

the other incoming matter on the agenda is that miss pickering and i are going to be holding a spring flower class together on monday may 20th. all proper details on that to follow soon so set your watch.
